Information Society Projects in Israel

Here you will find the description of Information Society projects being carried out in Israel. Several of them are the result of the initiative of the the National Committee for Information Technologies Infrastructures.(Ministry of Science and Ministry of Industry and Trade).

This site is maintained by the Internet Society - Israeli Chapter an autonomous NGO associated to ILA, the Information Technology Association of Israel (IPA). It has been nominated as the GIP (G7 Global Inventory Project) National Host for Israel.

The home page of the GIP - Global Inventory Project home page will provide you with a detailed description of the aims of the GIP project; links to other national hosts and the opportunity to register your project in the international database. This site is part of a growing network of related sites who seek to demonstrate existing resources relevant to the advancemnet of the Information Society concep.

You are invited to visit the projects' pages. We would like to have your comments and contribution to the discussion of these initiatives.

In the very near future registration facilities for Israeli Projects related to the Information Society will be available here.
